This company’s origins can be traced back to the Societa Scientifica Radio Brevetti X founded by three brothers, Adriano, Marcello and Bruno, in 1926 in Bologna. It initially manufactured vacuum tubes, condensers and other radio components. Production was maintained during World War II, despite the X factory being a repeated target for Allied bombing.
